MET GALA

The Met Gala Is Back: 9 of Our Favourite Past Looks

The most anticipated fashion event of the year is back, and as predicted it was bigger than ever. Despite the smaller guest list due to Covid-19 restrictions, there was a red carpet filled with Hollywood A-listers, the worlds best designers and the most in-demand models. We are talking about the Met Gala, of course. The event usually takes place on the first Monday in May. But because of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was moved to September. This year’s Gala was all about American fashion, and this year’s guestlist did not disappoint with their extravagant looks. To celebrate the return of the Met Gala, we have rounded up our favourite best-dressed guests that have attended in past years.

Hailey Bieber, 2019 Met Gala

Hailey Bieber dazzled in a custom Alexander Wang gown at the 2019 Met Gala. The look was completed with a sleek, flicky high ponytail and flawless makeup. But for us, the black scrunchie was the icing on the cake. Later that year, Molly-Mae Hague attended the Pride of Britain Awards with a very similar dress and the same iconic hairstyle.

Bella Hadid, 2019 Met Gala
